Loss of power?

Quick question for you all. I have a 14 SRT with about 20k miles on it. Over the past month I have noticed a drop in power. Anyone else seeing this or anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?

Only engine mod is the Bwoody CAI.

Was thinking about running some Chevron Trechron. Do you think this would help?

Thanks
Zach

They can be affected by warmer temperatures. Is the weather heating up where you live?

What do you normally run?? This is the only fuel that goes in my SRT.
And no, it won't help this problem. Like others said, the heat really affects these engines.

Re: Loss of power?

Going from summer to winter and no transitioning back to summer, I can say wow it's very depressing. Summer this is a dog compared to winter. Never experienced such a huge swing in power with any other vehicle in my life. Even my dads old 700HP NA Viper didn't change that much. It has to be the PCM screwing with things.

After putting in the CAI, by best 0-60 was 3.7 but was consistent with running 3.8-3.9. Just recently I am only running 4.5-4.7 0-60. The weather has warmed up, but I am seeing the decease even when temps are in the 40's-50's. I'm gonna see how the fuel treatment works out and bring it in if needs be. I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: Loss of power?

I know the automatic challenger and charger had adaptive TCMs. After a while they would pull the fuse and reset it, and they would have a noticeable change. Possible it has happened here, especially with how new and technological the 8 speed is.
