LOVE LOVE LOVE my 13' Jeep SRT!

So I did order a 14' redline Jeep SRT.....I thought the allure of the new LED headlights, 8 speed tranny and 8.4 Nav screen was what I wanted. Not gonna lie.....I do want those things......but is it worth $13-15K MORE than my perfect 13' Jeep SRT that is pretty much done the way I want it right now? Tuning will be available soon for my 13'...then I can add my Kooks setup and move on from there. Do I want to drive a stock 14' for 1-2 years? Is the redline that much nicer than my deep cherry? I though long and HARD...talked with my trusted friends....Pat....Chad...my wife etc. I just couldn't do it guys...I just didn't feel the 14' was worth the $13-15k over my Jeep! It was a VERY tough decision.....but I think in the end...I will still be ecstatic with my Jeep.
My feelings were confirmed last night. I was at a Jeep dealer buying my wife a rubicon unlimited.....ALL of the salesman, customers, GM etc. could talk about was my 13' Jeep SRT! I was told they all had been drooling over my Jeep...and they are a certified SRT dealer and a few years ago the number 1 Jeep dealer in the state! I think my feelings were confirmed...this is the Jeep for me right now. Not saying in a few years...that it wont be time for a new one...but not for 14' as of now....UNLESS I win the lottery! LOL!

Haha!!! Money for more mods. I heard the same thing when I was getting my Eibach's installed at the dealer. They said the mechanics were drooling over it. Wait til they see the Procharger under the hood. I'm still planning on upgrading the interior some more too. Thanks for all the info on your build. Good Job!!!

Good choice Scott. I personally do not like the look of the 14's at all. I think it looks really box-like and not sexy like the 13's!

Re: LOVE LOVE LOVE my 13' Jeep SRT!

Good move Scott. Headlights an 8 speed tranny and all the issues that go along with the '14's aren't worth spending 15K for. Who knows, we may get suprised with a special edition Hellcat in '15 or '16

Good choice brother, your Jeep is the inspiration for my 2014...literally...

22" FR, lowering, Intake, Exhaust, Tint, added Slotted/Drilled rotors, 3M clear bra, etc...

So I will be watching for your performance mods...

Scott

Re: LOVE LOVE LOVE my 13' Jeep SRT!

Gotta be happy with what you have............I shopped till I was happy (the NOT LUCKY dealer still has 4 '13s sitting there) I wanted the '14 with 8 speed and launch control etc etc. so when I bought my son his '14 Overland I ordered mine and the rest is history. Leaving for a roadtrip out WEST, Badlands/Spearfish Canyon in SD on the 23rd to carve a few inches off the canyon walls.. Enjoy your ride cause I love mine..Good Luck

I am glad you made a decision and stuck with it lol. You know what you are doing. If I had a 12-13 I would not have been able to pull a trigger on the 14. Luckily I had a 12 overland and could make a play. Your truck is a BEAST. That is something to be proud of. I also will have mine look something similar to yours, not because I want to copy it but because we obviously have the same taste for accessories.

Re: LOVE LOVE LOVE my 13' Jeep SRT!

Scott,

Sounds like you have thought it out thoroughly, it all sounds logical. I was wondering how you would like the Redline over the DCR, because there isn't any comparison in my mind (no offense to anyone that is getting a Redline), the DCR is the one to have.
