Lowered vehicles & position sensor

I noticed that there is a position switch/sensor that reads the changes in height out movement in the suspension. I'm sure they are at all 4 corners.

With some of our vehicles being lowered with aftermarket springs would correcting the linkage size on these sensors be beneficial to the adaptive suspension system?

Crappy picture of the sensor in the rear attached.
