Mopar Vehicle Protection?

Hi Everyone!

I am a new owner of a 2015 GC SRT!!! What an amazing vehicle. While I was finishing up the purchase, the dealer mentioned the Lifetime Extended Warranty, aka Mopar Vehicle Protection.

What do you all think about this? My understanding is that it was not previously offered to SRT vehicles, but now it is. I was thinking about going with the 100 deductible, which will cost around 3k.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Previously lifetime protection was not available for the SRT.

-If you're going to keep it beyond 3 years/36,000 miles get the warranty from one of the online Mopar Service Contract sellers. The dealers typically charge ripoff prices, and you can also avoid state sales tax by buying the contract out of state. **the contract is the same regardless of where you purchase it, you are not required to buy it from the same dealer you bought the vehicle from**

-If you're going to keep it for 7 years/100,000 miles or less, get the transferable 7 year maxcare. (approx. $2000). A used car with a comprehensive warranty will have a higher resale value.

-If you're going to keep it longer than that, get the lifetime. (approx. $2300), which is not transferable, however.

-Get the Wheel and Tire protection. 7 years for approx. $300. If you have Spider Monkey Black Vapour Chrome wheels, for instance, they're $1500 each+$400 Pirelli+$100 TPMS sensor+$75 Road Force Balancing EACH.

The warranty is entered into Chrysler's computers, and you can get service at any dealer in the US, Canada, or Mexico. It comes with a number of other miscellaneous benefits like towing. 1st day of service rental car, lost key fob coverage with no deductible etc.

I've used the Mopar service contracts for years with no issues whatsoever. Tens of thousands in repairs. Everything, including a destroyed tire and wheel were covered without question.

Hurry up before the bean counters at FCA realize they shouldn't be covering SRT's for $2300....

Re: Mopar Vehicle Protection?

I love my lifetime warranty.

Chryslerwarranties.com

Unlimited Lifetime Maximum Care with $100 deductable.

I bought it when I had 30K miles on my '12 JKU. and it cost me around $2300 but took some haggling to get there.

in the 90k miles since then, my unlimited warranty has covered right around $8,000 worth of work.

I've paid...$200 in deductables.

I think that puts me ahead by right around....$5500

Dealer never blinks or squirms or tries to find excuses.

I love my lifetime warranty.

Re: Mopar Vehicle Protection?

Chrysler extended warranty, Mopar Vehicle Protection is certainly a good place to start...

his father sold my father many Mopars, and his grandfather sold my grandfather a couple Mopars..

Re: Mopar Vehicle Protection?

You might want to check out this site too. A lot here, including myself, have bought the Mopar Life Time Service Contract from Bob Cline here. Don't just settle for the online price. Call Bob and get a discount code.

For an SRT? That's the low price for a non-SRT Lifetime Max Care Unlimited $100 deduct. I waiting to order my '16 SRT and the absolute best SRT I have been quoted is $2850 for the Lifetime Max Care Unlimited $100 deduct....I would love to be wrong.
