More Bark Less Dirt

So I made a boneheaded decision last week to have a shop cut off the resonators and "weld" the tips back on. I had been looking for a more aggressive tone and thought I would go this route and change it up if I didn't like it.

Long story short is that it got jacked to hell and looked horrible - sounded decent though. Slight burble under hard acceleration but not as much bark as I thought it would have. Anyway, couldn't live with the looks of it so ordered a Borla Atak catback for my 2015 and had it overnighted.

Took off all the oem stuff and installed the Borla myself in my driveway with no ramps. Not to bad but was more work than I thought it would be. Fitment was spot on but just didn't have much room to work. Neighbors probably thought I was having a seizure I was flopping, kicking and twisting around so much to get leverage while wrestling with the hangers.

Also drove around a bit with the exhaust off before installing the Borla just to see what it was like - holy hell it is loud and holy hell there is power loss.

Got the new exhaust on and I am really happy with it - sounds great, power is all there, looks awesome. Had to re-tighten one of the clamps 2x now so I am not sure what is going on there - almost like its settling with all the vibration from driving around. Washed her all up today and am good to go - love this thing!!

Loving the way this sounds - if the gt haus is significantly louder than this I am not sure I would be able to stand it and I love loud cars/trucks. I would consider springs at some point in the future - gonna tint the front windows and save some $$$$$$$ for now
