When I had my Durango I brought it in for an oil change and they put over 100 miles on the car. One of the service guys actually drove the car home.

I got a free extended warranty out of it.

Greggsrt8 - i had a lot of trouble with my srt8 also it was in the shop for a little over a week. i went onto srt website and wrote an email with all the facts about my truck. i specifically email one of the PR directors who helped me out. i was given a call back from somebody at chryco that really took care of me. the corporate service was beyond insane. ultimately they gave me a check to reduce my principal on the truck.

i asked for a upgraded warranty full coverage for as many miles as possible. i then mentioned how hard it was getting to and from work with a new car i didnt have. she said would 2k help cover costs. i didnt even hassle her i said absolutely. went straight to principle plus they upgraded my warranty from 5y/85k with $100 deductible to lifetime/100k with $0 deductible and oil changes for like 5 years.
i was happy

GreggSRT8, I hope this all works out for you. What a bummer! I picked mine up on Boxing Day and so far (fingers crossed and knock on wood) I haven't found a single problem and the dealer detailed it beautifully. How can the quality of a new vehicle vary so much when they leave the factory with all that so-called Quality Control? Is it possible someone gained access to your vehicle while it was in-transit? Good luck sorting this out. (I posted some comments and pics under my "early impressions" thread).

I had good results with Jeep Customer Assistance and Chryco's case manager for a service issue on my WK1 SRT8, although the woman was a bit...um slow. I was reimbursed for service costs, etc. pretty much no questions asked. Just explain everything and keep you paper trail. I hope everything works out for you.

UPDATE:
Dealership explanation on the mileage was 3 separate test drives of 15-20 miles per.
The tech did one after the repair. Then the service manager wanted to make sure everything was all good. The service manager thought he heard something so then they both went on a 3rd test drive.

Still waiting on the 3rd dashboard and fender flare. The dealership is going to fix any all cosmetic issues/paint chips.

Chrysler Customer Care hasn't been communicating me as well as I hope they would. Haven't gotten my case manager to call me back after 3 messages. Its the holidays so i am giving her the benefit of the doubt. I have contacted SRT through their DriveSRT Facebook page and they are now involved.

I am glad to hear the good news for you. Is your case manager's name Debbie? DriveSRT has always been very responsive and involved on Twitter, it is good to see them paying attention to social media.

Why did they need 15-20 miles EACH trip to test this? With what your problem was, if it doesn't happen in 5 minutes/miles or so...what's to think it will after 20 minutes/miles of driving?????

BS, they found a reason to explain driving your vehicle for as much as they could.

Not Debbie, my case managers name is Amber. Yeah the guy who runs SRT Social Media is Adam and he's is on top of it.
