My 2014 Jeep GC SRT Experience

Just wanted to share my experience with the Beast known as the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. I fell in love with this SUV three years ago when the pics were first released. I wanted to buy it back then, but convinced myself I needed to wait until I paid off my mortgage. When the list of improvements was announced for the 13, I was glad I waited. I waited patiently until the Rear Seat Entertainment(which I will do a review on soon) was available, and with the mortgage paid off, I placed my order on March 10, 2014. Dues paid to Scott and Milous I checked the tracking site some three times daily until delivery on April 17. I love it! I love everything about it. Until a week later when it broke my heart. I brought it into my shop and noticed that the clamp for the drivers side front outer CV boot had came loose. I also noticed that my transmission pan was leaking at the seal. What gives? Brought it into the dealership I bought it from, and gave it back to me two hours later because they needed to order the parts. Its now been 6 weeks and still no driveshaft. Numerous and persistent calls to Tina @ Canadian Customer Service do nothing, she doesn't know where the part is? Little advice guys as to what to do?

Can you try a different dealer? It's crazy how a dealership can make or break the ownership experience. But I also know some guys are stuck with one dealer because of where they live--it might be impractical to go to a different one. I am super lucky that I have a great one that is less than 5 minutes from my house

Dealer can't do anything, they are merely waiting on parts. They have been helpful, it's our Canadian support that sucks. They don't call you back, and have no clue where my parts are? I can't believe I'm still considering buying a new Viper, even with this horrible service. I just love cars.
