I wonder how many of the wildly varying 0-60 times Ive seen posted were recorded via radar vs EVIC...

Stay out of my thread bumpinjeep

NONE SAID it was perfect or absolutely correct. But most members who have taken their 12+ jeep srt to tracks say the timers are super close and sometimes exactly the same as times ran on tracks. Im not stupid and I dont need your condescending opinions. This is for fun...the reason i bought this vehicle. ..asshole. I know the conditions are not the same as a track....but are any tracks the same? Weather? Trucks? Etc etc?

Isnt there a ricer 350z forum?

Re: My 2014 Jeep SRT just broke the 4 second barrier

This thread is making me so envious (and concerned). I have 7500 miles, Borla Stype, Injen Intake, and have not been able to break 4.5 and that was only once when t had 1000 miles! Its 50 in Chicago it should be getting better. I also have a rough idle that constantly dips to 500 RPM and then jumps back up to 700ish at red lights. Very odd and bothersome.

Dont mean to steal thread but has anyone else noticed the jumping idle?

Mine has been bumping down to 500 since I added my bwoody intake. But I am also getting comparable times to Scott. What sea level is Chicago at?

You're sad!

I just wish you could buy an SRT with the OR-II package, skid plates, etc.

Mine has been doing it since I bought it. I believe it was covered before. IIRC it was just another way to save a bit of fuel.

Yeah, that drove me crazy. The bad thing about it is a Trinity cant correct it either. No matter where you set the idle, it will still drop to 500rpm's when the AC is off.

Yea the trinity is a great tool but there are still things they need to workout in it. Too many things that don't work

Thats an under statement. Were on our third year of the new platform and fan options and idle adjustment are still worthless on the 12's and 13's. They should at least post what actually works with the Trinity on the WK2 SRT models and what does not. Thats just good business

Exactly! I've called them a few times and each time I get the same answer "this is the first time we've heard of it"
I'm too annoyed to call again at this point.

Chicago is >800 above sea level so it should not be affected by that. I also noticed the 500 rpm dip happened after the intake.

Re: My 2014 Jeep SRT just broke the 4 second barrier

Also i just watched Scotts video again and in track mode mine does not shift nearly that quickly or smoothly. I have a jerking forward lag between 1-2 shift. Not a near continuous power delivery that the video showed. Last night i did 3 runs. Granted it was a 'Slight' uphill grade, I ran 5.0, 4.9, 5.0.

It may be a tranny issue. Sometimes if i really get on it in third gear the RPM will rise about 800-1000 before the tranny (well the torque converter) grip the power. Very unsettling feeling. I also notice a very rough downshift while in D when coming to a stop when it goes to 3rd. Its not all the time but its pretty jarring when it happens.

Time for a dealer call i think
