The reason i bought a jeep was I wanted change in my pocket, I hate the euro car with there grandpa/classic dial layout.... boring. And the sound that the 6.4L produces compared to the other euro V8 makes them look like kittens....
That jeep is in the low 13's as well. May not pull up top like the bm but its faster from the hole. Aerodynamics play into the top end as well

SRTBLK is on a distinguished road
Re: My GC SRT14 vs. 2014 BMW X5

also wonder what the altitude was where the video was shot as NA engines are more affected by this than turbos are as we all know.....

Re: My GC SRT14 vs. 2014 BMW X5

I think it's a good thing that BMW beats the SRT or any other car ,as we all no competition is great to push the other manufacturer to do better isn't that why they built the Hellcat to be top dog for a while ? , now Ford are building something to beat the Hellcat and so are other manufactures to keep up ..The only time it becomes dangerous for us consumers is when the price becomes unaffordable to the point where the average joe can't afford it

I say bring on the challengers towards the SRT brand name so Jeep can push something better in the next gen SRT's , and bang for buck you can't beat the SRT it just a bloody good performance car for your dollars and to be honest it's very cheap car to mod for extra HP ,I mean it's really not that expensive to put on a RIPP SC or a Whipple SC for that extra tang in the donk ..

I'm not a car expert but I can tell you facts from my experience with a 2014 Cayenne TT. Cliff notes: It beats me in the summer and I beat it in the winter. 0-60 and 1/4 mile. It improves a little in the winter, I improve a lot. Yes I do realize there are other variables...however I've run against other FI cars and it appears that they are not half as much affected by heat and humidity as our rigs are. Also worth noting that when I run NA cars such as older CLS63 or E63, RS5, ISF, M3 etc. we all slow down about the same. Only the turbo cars win by a much larger margin in summer versus winter.

As far as other people talking about SRT and what they should do, I've spit the facts out on the countless times. There is no opinion. SRT knew what they did when they released it. Ralph acknowledged it was slower but said it was still a damn good buy, which it is. Regardless, Ralph is no longer the CEO and is back in design where he excels. If SRT has a lick of sense they will make the 6.2SC the ONLY motor in the NEXT GENERATION SRT Jeep. Anything else is retarded. It will rape rob and pillage every SUV currently produced and planned for the foreseeable future. Keep it under 80k well equipped and it's a home run. No further discussion necessary.
