During the colder months, yes, but just barely, warmer months, straight on, no not at all.

FWIW, it's an H speed rated....if u intend to have "fun" you do not want an H rated tire....V minimum....it's not so much the speed rating, I mean who goes 149mph (V), 168/W, etc...it's the tread compound, pattern and, thus, the performance characteristics you get from that....these Falkens are a more legit All-Season Touring/Cruising tire than the Gen Grab UHP's which are more summer performance oriented with a token snowflake rating thrown in...but the the Falkens will wear better and be quieter....am curious tho about any user comments....choices really suck for us

Don't downgrade on tires folks...stick with the same specs as the pirellis.

Thank you for the education. I'm still learning about the inns and outs.

Thanks man. Trying to find something with a softer ride. But it sounds like there aren't many options that make sense. Still learning.

I'm gonna go with the General Grabbers.

I'll report back. Won't happen for a few days tho.

Re: Need new tires..stock rim. NOT the OEM pirellis. :)

just got the final word on the non-runflat Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico in OEM size, 295/45/20....1 single tire in stock in US and Pirelli says that tire is kaput....UHP's for me....will be a decent tire I am sure just a quick wearer, oh well

Sounds like the consensus is that the Generals are the way to go if you don't want run flats correct?

Re: Need new tires..stock rim. NOT the OEM pirellis. :)

Id say there really is no solid second choice from Pirelli for OEM size. Each seems to have a down side in one form or another.

I've been running the Toyo Proxes II. Quiet ride. But a smaller 'footprint'. Looks a tad anorexic. Don't grip as well as Pirelli.

The Generals I think will grip a little better than my Toyos. Plus they don't look 'skinny'.

Our rim size is a PITA.
