Need some definitive tire and wheel help . . .

Need some help here --

So I've seen conflicting/vague posts . . . I'm about to order a set of 22x11 COR wheels. I'm not dropping the jeep (in the front at least - which is all that really matters). I'd like to stuff 305/40/22 rubber in there.

Does anyone know from experience if this will rub?

Also, anyone have a pic of an Eibach drop in the rear only?

305 40 is Very close to rubbing and probably will on bumps. I had them and there was no way to lower it with 305 40

Thanks Scott. I'm thinking 40 is going to be way too close and 35 is prob the safe way to go but if King Money is running the 35 and he's slammed - shouldn't there be more than enough room for the 40 with no drop?

nope...mine was barely tpouching some part at full lock...I forget what. I immediately had them removed because I still was gonna drop my Jeep. 305-35 is fine

Thanks for the confirmation Scott - guess 305/35 is what it's going to be.

Re: Need some definitive tire and wheel help . . .

I have contacted Savini wheels today to check the price of some wheels, the salesman told me the best size to go with is 265x35 front and 285x30 rear (staggered) but I think the front tires are small I told him many guys went for 285x35 all round he told me it is safe but 265x35 and 285x30 is the best so I'm confused.

maybe on the nonSRT 265-35...but not the SRT. We have different lower control arms to handle larger wheels/tires

Re: Need some definitive tire and wheel help . . .

Can anyone confirm?

The 315/35/20 BMW x5m rears will fit our rears, but what is the widest up front that will fit?

315s in the rear would look bad ass. My only concern would be the sidewall. I'm not interested in a tire that looks like a rubber band stretched over a rim.

305 40 22s would look great

Re: Need some definitive tire and wheel help . . .

But 305 40 will rub. 305 35 is better. I'm still confused. Savini and other wheel dealers say different things. Every one is telling me different sizes lol. I think I may go for stagger set with 285 35 front and 305 35 rear or just give up and go for 285 35 all round.

Re: Need some definitive tire and wheel help . . .

I have been speaking with Scott about this a bit. I have decided to go with 285 35 on the front and 305 35 on the rear as well as lowered. This will work and will also look bad ass.
