F%$k, one of the reason why it sometimes sucks to live where I live, lol.

It's there any truth to the dealers marking them up another 15k over MSRP?

I had heard a rumor that certain dealers that are known to mark up vehicles will not be getting allocation. Think this was from the Challenger forum.

I'm sure they are going to go for the throat, as is common with high demand vehicles. Don't know if it will make a difference or not, but an important consideration in the Hellcat allocation (along with the aforementioned Viper sales) is that "points" will be deducted from dealers who have a past history of selling above MSRP.

Will this car be considered an exotic (like the Viper)?

My dealership had a tag of 7k over price on my exact jeep. It was the first one in the state and one of the first in country. I waited month and kept telling them I refused to pay it and no one else would so then they sold it to me at sticker once I went some where else to order one lol.

Yep if you are in DFW I would not recommend going to Allen Samuels of Alliance because they will 10000% mark up this hellcat just like they did with jeeps.

Depends what ZL1 your talking about my car will run 9's all day.

A stock ZL1 or GT500 has no chance when comparing #'s yes but who stays stock in the Mustang and Camaro world? I know SRT has had issues getting full tuning which they still don't have for the 2012+. Stock for stock numbers are great no doubt but their is a major price difference here too well at least from the ZL1 LOL. People act as if the ZL1 and GT500's are junk because SRT put up a big number. It's called advertising and it's working well right now and getting all the attention it deserves.

Are you gonna roll the window down after a modded ZL or GT500 mops the road with you because you can't tune the Chally for 3 years and say "Hey buddy I'm stock good race I would have won if I had a tune"? No doubt in 3 years they will be fast as hell when tuning fully opens up but I'm sure ford and Chevy are not amused and won't have the smaller numbers for long hence the reason most are comparing this to the ZO6 since it's gonna be in the same price range. Now to labeling or have the "Corvette is not a muscle car" argument is senseless that's subjective and just an outlook that someone takes so they can still feel on top of a platform argument I see all too often on forums and could go one for decades with no real proof since again depending who you ask will yield different answers.

I Wonder what the Chally will run at Neuberg since it's now being compared to the Z28 :roll eyes: agreed with below different animal than the ZL and Z28. Their are so many differences from suspension, breaks to cooling different animals all together.

I'm sure it's going to be amazingly fast but real world numbers tell the story. We don't even know the weight of it yet and 707HP is really something in the 600HP+ Rear Wheel which is great depending on the final weight (I should mention that number of 600-650HP to the ground in a ZL and GT500 is very doable for very cheap) so we are now back to weight Haa. IMO I've said it before and I'll say it again they picked the wrong car should have been a 2 door newly designed Charger or even the Jeep.

Either way I'm not a Camaro, Mustang or SRT fanboy I appreciate everything and have some real world experience and appreciation for different platforms and only speak from experience and opinion. Still love what SRT is doing so please no one take any of this the wrong way LOLOL.
