I followed the instructions on the x-lume site for dropping the front lower lip. I initially tried removing the surround piece for the distance control sensor and there was no way my hand let alone my arms would fit behind. So I thought I would get to it from below. I dropped the front lower lip without even lifting the car which made it a little more challenging to access the back bolts but doable. The screws on the inner fender lining are also a pain in the ass to get back in after, and my arm still barely fit from below but I could get my whole hand behind the badge to secure it with the nuts.

Still I am very happy with the quality of the stainless badge and it adds a nice subtle reminder that it is an SRT in your review mirror pressing you to move aside.

I bought my set on Amazon for under $50 for the set of 20...

They are satin as stated earlier. One piece of advice is that upon my last tire rotation, the all-locking Gorilla lugs are starting to show some wear on the "gears" where the adapter connects. My tire guy recommended I buy the "standard" Gorilla lugs and have one of the locking lugs at each corner. I just ordered 16 "regular:, and when I get my next rotation he is going to keep the best 4 locking lugs and then install the 16 non-locking. Just an FYI as it appears that after 4-5 installs/rotations the gears begin to slightly strip...he said 3-4 more and a couple would definitely be no longer usable.

Here are the lugs I am going to purchase (I will probably buy 20 as I am not worried abut my rims getting stolen, but will probably still have a locking lug at each corner).

Here are the 4 individually packaged:

https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Autom...lla+black+lugs

Here are the same lugs in what appears to be "bulk" packaging at over 30% off for the same items:

https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Autom...lla+black+lugs

Other than the packaging, any difference between the two Gorilla lugs above? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

No. That's not from the factory.

First, when I removed the OEM exhaust I noticed that the passenger side pipe after the suitcase was compressed which looks like it would restrict exhaust flow.

After installing the aFe I was quite impressed by the sound. Much louder than I anticipated considering I am not running headers.

I then replaced my interior bulbs with LED. NOTE I read that someone successfully replaced the 194 bulbs in the dome light by dropping the clear lenses. This did NOT work for me. I ended up pulling down the entire dome light assembly and unscrewing the holder for the 194 bulbs.

I also wrapped my lower grill corners in gloss red to tie into the red calipers.

How are you liking the AFE catback now after a few months? I was going to wait to get it until the their AFE cai came out for the 16, but the bug is already hit me. lol

Re: New 2016 SRT Night Edition

I do like the aFe but it was a little too aggressive in sound for when I am driving my family around so I just added a pair of Vibrant 17950 resonators and it is just right.

I also swapped out my brake pads for some Powerstop Z26. Stopping power has perhaps a tad less bite from OEM but still strong and the brake dust is significantly less.

Thanks for the update man. So was the aggressiveness inside the cabin or outside? I have no family except dogs. But am curious if it was in the cabinn.

Those are also on my list to order, I've just been behind this week.
