Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Injen
- more intake sound
- hotter temps may see the iat temps rise quicker, but I've found once you get moving they drop very quickly
-metal tube but has a heat shield that seems to work.

Afe
-sealed enclosure is quieter but louder than stock
-sealed box will probably control temperature fluctuations better
-seems to take some time for iat temps to drop
-probably has more air flow
- quality plastic design & components

Can't decide which I like better so far but I'll continue to run my afe just because of the build quality. Injen is not a terrible choice to me either though.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

still waiting on mine. learned a valuable lesson
i will not order direct through a company anymore
will only order through there distributor
should have gone with black ops and chad

there getting them out to them first, which is cool

chad is the man, bottom line

besides getting a supercharger in may who cares about an intake anyway

bitter ...No
lol
happy new year

Better quality, less intrusive installation for sure. Not sure if better results. Scott had the bwoody so I'm sure he'll be able to comment.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

My iat temps were cooler all the time with the bwoody...too bad its a piece of trash build wise. I posted some stats here somewhere. But the bracket failed 2x.....wiring failed and was replaced. Washer pump/tank failed/replaced and looked cheap anyway. Junk
