I guess it's your luck...I ordered through their main site and got it a few days or a week after launch!

Well I put 1500 miles on the intake filter so I figured it's time for a dyno run to see if it picked up any more hp as AFE says it would.....well after all said & done it picked up 7 more hp for a total of 24, I'll see if 14SummitHemi can do me a solid & post the dyno graph....stby.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Now I feel the sheet I saw when I was at AFE was dead on 21-26 was what I saw and almost to the T want you got too.

I spoke with AFE and I'm working on the intake temps with them to figure out what if anything can be done. So hold tight we spoke about the lower seal but no one is convinced that will attribute to lower temps. Just wanted everyone to know AFE is fully aware of everyone's concerns tho.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Glad we are past the power improvement concerns. Thinking about the shape of the intake tube and the location of the IAT sensor, I can imagine a swirl of hotter air pooling in the tube. It could be a stretch but just my thoughts... illustration below ( the air with the straight shot in moves quicker causing the air with a more resistive path to slow and swirl/pool. This is pool is right where the IAT sensor sits.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

There should be a resistor mod

Trick the iat sensor into thinking its a little bit colder

If that's even possible
