You guys are getting some great temps... Hopefully I'll improve.

Was the car running for a while? Just got back from a drive? Or just started?

I can tell you by the coolant temp and trans temp that he was just stopped while driving.

24hp for 400$ seems like a crazy hp/$ return?

I don't have an srt but I've spent several thousands of dollars to get hp gains on my v6 wk2 so that it now can run with any srt ..but I've also tried cai's and seen 5-10hp gains from the same 400$ investment

From the outside looking in here I think if you're complaining about a 24hp gain on a 400$ investment you really need to find a different hobby

Just my .02$

I agree. Just drop it in, drive the hell out of it and enjoy. If not, return it and stop complaining. I've had mine in for a few weeks now and love what it's done for my '15 SRT. I could care less about temps. If the beast gets up and goes better than it did before the intake, I'm happy. And I notice a significant difference with this new intake.

There's never gonna be a perfect mod. In the future someone - maybe even afe - will come up with something even better than this. So stop waiting to install it, stop focusing on getting the perfect temps and just enjoy it while it's the best thing out there.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

I've noticed that nobody has posted any performance numbers. Just intake temps. Does anyone care about how fast it makes your Jeep? Sure 24 hp is a nice number but how fast is it? Like I said before my stock intake with the K&N drop-in posted the same times on my on board performance calculator as the aFe intake. My hemifever tune was the best bang for the buck for my Jeep. It shaved .7 in the 1/4 mile and .4 in the 0-60 time.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Performance numbers o-60 times
Before afe 4.6
Today after install 4.7
Perfect
Lol
Let the soap opera continue

I honestly noticed "no" difference at all from before

I'll tell u what's been the best bang for the buck in the "actual butt Dyno" dept
-sprint booster
Has the throttle response and overall feel so different than stock.
I highly recommend it 100%

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

I wonder if mileage after install makes a difference. May I ask how long it's been since your install? I think it was a good move to wait a few thousand miles to get a conclusive dyno sheet, so it may be the same for performance results.

Sprinter booster does nothing besides adjust the pedal position so you don't have to push it as hard. You can also do this via diablosport tuner.
