Santa came early, he rang the door bell and left, leaving an AFE cold air intake, will be putting on today, and the SRT badge from XLUME which should be a little easier with the stock intake out of the way...HO,HO,HO

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Awesome enjoy and let's hear how the install goes from what I've seen it goes together outside of the jeep and goes on in one piece. AFE did a lot of work to get the install super simple and from what I've seen it appears to be straight forward the way the tube snaps into the filter housing that alone is brand new design for AFE and their super proud of it. I heard their was a lot of engineering behind the way it goes together. Any install or questions as always feel free to call me AFE is closed today.

Oh any Xlume questions also feel free

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

Hi all, installation is a breeze, the hardest part is pushing the rubber hose on, had to take it off to install the xlume srt badge, and the sheet says red wire but i don't have a red, I'm thinking it is the orange...i don't want it on all the time which is the pink and yellow which i have...Anyone with a 15 that knows if it is the orange wire ? thanks!!

White w/brown pin position 6 if you are on the left side of the vehicle. This is the parking light wire.

Re: New aFe intake option coming...

X lume badge works great, thanks CLStech, i couldn't wait but 1 word of caution with the intake,..the grommets that are on the bottom to hold it in place, fall off, so when the filter has to be cleaned you have to watch...i have to retrieve mine tomorrow from the brake ducting which i still have to finish tomorrow
