Either way, they took a step in the right direction with the 14s.
Agree. Wild colors are key. I did a full write up on the Cherokee and why it should be offered in Jeep-proper COLORS.

Re: New Member and Borla Install video (sort of)

I think the thing with the wk2 SRT is they don't need special colors to sell them. They cant build enough for demand. Not so with the other SRT's. Also....youll not see a core model wk2 either.

But I would love to see a wild color here or there....

they pretty much gave us the Ferrari red with the redline....maybe some proding will comvince them?

Personally, all of the colors I mentioned, this Jeep would look fantastic in (probably inherent nature of this vehicle and how good it does look).

Going back to supply & demand... They make way fewer of these than they do of any of the others right?

Thanks so much for this, Juan! I found your vid through a Google search and after watching it a few times over, I managed to get my ATAK installed in about an hour. Sometimes a "How Not-To" is more valuable than a "How-To".

For some reason I wasn't getting notifications of replies here. Sorry about that.

To answer your question Chris, yes. That was me spouting off all my boring policy jibberish on the AutoBlog Podcast. I haven't been invited back since haha

Scotty - Glad I could be of help. I got a nice note back from the folks at Borla. I did a little write up on my blog of the video and why I made it.

I dabble in the world of armchair advermarketing

I made a video about an exhaust and the Internet laughed at me

Rob
I came on here to post that I had the Atak installed today…and saw this thread…so I thought I'd just tack onto it.

I went back and forth on the S Type vs the Atak for a few weeks. Watched the Borla comparison video on youtube about 20 times.

In the end, I went with the Atak and I'm glad I did.

I got it for just over $600 from Amazon (am I allowed to say that?) and free 2 day shipping with my prime membership.

I had a local, reputable muffler shop install it. They charged me $330, as they said there was quite a bit of adjusting they had to do to make it fit just right. The pipes line up perfectly so they must know what they're doing!

I thought the SRT was perfect before the Borla, but now that it's on, it's just what this beast needs. It now sounds like it feels and drives: like a young, muscular stallion ready to bust down the stall.

I also was struggling with S vs. ATAK and ended up with S. Can't go wrong with either as both sound better than stock...you got a good deal online for your borla but have to say i think your local shop charged a bit much.....

I agree.

And that's what I get for being a girl who can't do it herself.
