New Tire Pressure Sensors

Putting together a new set of wheels and tires, with new OEM pressure sensors on my 2015 WK2 SRT.

Will this require a trip to the dealer to sync the new sensors to the vehicle, or will it happen automagically?

Re: New Tire Pressure Sensors

Happened on my 2015 Laredo E automagically. Took about 5 or 6 miles to self sync.

Re: New Tire Pressure Sensors

Should sync automatically. The one tire I had to replace took maybe a half mile to register.

How much are the tire sensors for all 4? What is the best place to get them? Dealership or online?

I paid $38 for 4 new OEM sensors on eBay.

Re: New Tire Pressure Sensors

I bought a set of 4 new ones at the dealership for $319 after a 15% discount.

I know there are cheaper aftermarket ones available, but I've had problems with pressure sensors in the past so I'd rather go OEM and brand new. These are made by "Schraeder Electronics" in England.

Re: New Tire Pressure Sensors

I will say the TPMS you get depends on the wheels. The ones with rubber stems are ~$40 for 4 from dealers on eBay and the ones with metal stems and nuts are around $120 for 4 from dealers on eBay.
