new tuning breakthrough 2014

Hi guys,
I have had a diablo i purchased from demon for almost a year and was not overly impressed with the tunes way back then as the guys had very limited access.

BUT NOW they have a much better range at demon to get in and pull that beast out from the hood..

As you would have read some where in some of my posts/threads that the best i could get was 354awhp .

well ive been speaking with skip in regards to there SC pro charger kits and i explained i wasn't to sure with the tune side of things if its worth it, he said send him some current logs and he will tweak with there new access and let the tune speak for it self.
Im like yep sounds great , i sent in 3 logs and had 3 adjustments and seriously i cant stop smiling.

Ive gone from a best of evic 4.4 0-60 to a 4.1 with a consistent run not a one off, i bet your saying well thats ok but doesn't prove to much...
Yeah maybe but what about the dyno run difference !!!

I was doing max 354 awhp , then today same dyno new tune i did a 394awhp
40 awhp gain is crazy and has the guys

very happy with that, even Nath the dyno guy was very impressed with the gains.

So to all you doubters out there the dyno sheets dont lie and neither do i lol...

I have ordered the SC kit from demon and will throw up a new log one its arrived and ready to install.

just for factual info , there is a RIPP kit here in aus and thus far the best 0-60 time he posted on a forum was a 3.9 evic , i did a 4.1 just NA no SC so that is food for thought as they say.

Thanks demon for a great tune and some very fun driving

i wish i knew i was recording in HD on my S5 as i had no storage left for the last runs and didnt film the best one. ill have to go back lol

i wanted the wipple very much, but ive wanted a SC since october last year, i wanted that awesome whine but hey i want a SC more lol,

the kooks are great its feels better and more responsive and was a good deal from demon so i could not pass it up, i get a slow response code now and then, but the diablo sorts that at the press of a few buttons.

the diablo self updates , so no need for a new one in my case and yeah same small island as you mate

Re: new tuning breakthrough 2014

Thanks for the info mate , and good luck on the SC , for me personally I really like the whipple SC setup I have emailed them but no reply ? Also I'm still waiting for them to officially finish testing there jeep and tuning it but also I was reading a post where someone thinks the SRT will get the hellcat donk . So I'm at the crossroads now to wait another year to see if it happens or spend the money on mine ?, anyway I look forward to reading your future post on you getting a SC 👍😊 all the best to you Dasko 😀

Re: new tuning breakthrough 2014

Interesting news on the tuning. I'm still not ready to take the plunge. It makes sense that with some tweaks you will finally release the potential gains from your headers. I want to see solid results for just exhaust and CAI guys. Keep us posted though!

Re: new tuning breakthrough 2014

I had the Diablo tune on my 2012 but haven't tried it on my 2014 yet because of all the bad reviews. I'm wondering what gains this would show for CAI, Kooks catback set up? Is this something Demon is offering?

To be fair, my JGC was stock and my best runs were 4.7 and then dropped to 3.8 so the SC took almost 1 sec off.... and I've been pretty gentle with that run just using LC at 2,000rpm. RIPP suggested that with LC at 3,000 rpm I should be aiming at 3.5sec but we will see.

I'm waiting for the Plumb Back and getting it all certified before putting the boot in. I'm also after a "Q car", all looking and sounding as plain as possible with as much hidden power I can safely get.

If a newbie like me can drop almost 1 sec without any issues, I'd imagine you guys (with your other mods) would see better!
