Incase anyone was wondering how strong the 3/16 aluminum Front Sump Shield was. This is the Ecodiesel lifted with the front tires one inch off of the ground being supported by the 3/16 Front Sump shield and the jack. I know the SRT guys will want to know the weights so the Front Sump Shield is 9lbs 9oz and the Transmission Shield is 6lbs 9oz. both are 3/16 aluminum.
Best regards, Rex

Since it only takes abote 5 minutes or less to remove, there should be no need. The more holes and openings that are put on it the less protective it becomes. We prefer the "kiss" approach.

this sits under the factory one correct?

the SRT has brake ducting under neath it. so removing the OEM splash SRT looses some of the cooling.

Owell still nice product!

Yes, the factory one stays inplace. The shield fits below it. Thanks for the nice product compliment :-)

Just so there is no confusion, these all can be ordered in stainless steel. It is much stronger but much heavier as well.
Best regards, Rex
