No Sunroof

I was wondering, does anyone here have an SRT without any sunroof/pano roof?
I believe you can order the SRT without it, yet I've never seen one in person or online that didn't have a sunroof.

Yes mine doesn't have one and I love it. Just not a sunroof type of guy. 2014 Billet Silver

No alcantara headliner in 2015/16 without Sunroof.

Not sure about 2017. there's no mention of "suede like headliner" in the options any longer, so maybe they all get it now.

No alcantara headliner w/o the sunroof? Good to know as that would be a deal breaker.

Re: No Sunroof

My 2012 SRT had a sunroof...creaked and never used it.
Moved onto 2014 SRT ...no roof...no creaking and lighter...win win!

Re: No Sunroof

Apparently Duel pane and 19 speaker are very sought after options on the used car market for SRT's, so unless your planning on keeping it forever you may want to think of the big hole in the roof for resale value

Re: No Sunroof

Eh you also pay a lot more for that hole in the roof along with higher insurance premiums. To each his own. Hell I hardly even drive my SRT what a waste!

Higher insurance premiums for having a sunroof.......that's a new one. Bottom line is you will take a huge bath on resale with no roof on a trade and most likely will be impossible to sell on the private market without one.

Re: No Sunroof

Yes look into a rollover accident with glass or metal above you what would you prefer? Again it's all relative you paid $3000 extra for that sunroof bad investment if you ask me but hey it's your money. I'm not selling mine I will just supercharge it when my warranty runs out perfect timing it will be paid off then.

Re: No Sunroof

I've have nothing but trouble with my roof. It's cool for a while but
I tinted my with 5% ceramic tint because it's too hot to keep the shade open, it also has terrible wind noise two different dealerships couldn't fix, it creeks like a m*therf'er when I tow.

Re: No Sunroof

I would think there would be a decent market for any vehicle without a sunroof. I don't think I am alone in wishing I could have gotten a Summit without one. Of course you won't convince sunroof fans of that. As for taking a hit when selling, not likely. Options are the profit engines in the auto industry and typically bring back very low return on investment.

Completely disagree. Been casually shopping for a CPO 991. Would not touch one without a roof...for one reason...don't want to have to make excuses when I want to unload it..which i will...does a roof add $$..probably not...does it add value...absolutely. Put two identical ones next to one another at the same price...one with a roof, and one without....the one with the roof is selling first. Period.
