Non Run Flat Tres

I need to replace my stock Runflats (29k on them) and want to get non Runflats due to the harsh ride and noise on the highway. I'd rather give up some cornering for a smoother, quieter ride I've been looking at the Yoko's ( had them on my cayenne and they were just ok), the hankook h06 and toyos. I live in Chicago so need all seasons. So to you guys without runflats what's the verdict in stock size, which do you think are best to run all year long?

Just posted this in your other post before I saw this one but ill throw it here two
I just put these on a customer's jeep to try out, cheap all season non run flats
I didn't buy them from this website but these are the tires at least
Falken 28-051-018 295/45R20

Another cheap all season non run flat option
Sumitomo HTR Sport H/P
Thanks, none of those came up when I did a tire rack search. Not worried about price just quiet smooth ride in that size. Have not had any experience with these brands, are they any good?

Check out the Conti DWS's...have those on the Cayenne Turbo now and they are wearing great. I have Toyo Proxes ST II's on mine, but I do not think they are as good "year-round" as other options.

Quick question: HOW did you get 29k on the OEM run flats???? Mine were toast at 13k miles...

I'm running the yokos and have been very happy with them... BUT I would not recommend them as an all season tire as they are terrible in ice and snow. If price isn't an issue then perhaps you run the yokos and buy a winter tire. All seasons usually underperform in the winter in my experience.. good luck!

Just got the Yoko's installed this morning and on the short ride home I can't believe the difference. The ride is so much better and quieter than the P runflats, now a lot of that may have to do with the fact that my Ps had 29K plus miles on them and they had gotten as hard as hockey pucks. The look is more agressive which I like.

I had these in a different size on my Cayenne and they held up pretty well, but got noisy near the end so we"ll have to see how they last.

Thanks for everyone's help.

These are great in the rain but in the snow the stock all season run flats wee way better. The Ventus are 5 pounds lighter per wheel vs the stock run flats, along with the race brake kit I added I lost about 10-12 pounds per wheel. The truck is noticable quicker but in light snow these are horrible. I live in the nyc area. Good luck.

Soft ride is a double edged sword. The reason the Pirelli run flats were chosen for the SRT was due to cornering alone. The yokos are significantly weaker in corners and I'd choose the run flats in a second if they weren't 4x the cost and lasted longer. It's an SRT after all.. the yokos are a decent mix in my opinion..
