oil pressure issue just me ?

Hey guys , i was getting a code on the diablo today so booked into service center for investigation, i cleared it and its coming back so wasnt a glitch.

now the oil bar is normally sitting at 2 bar 3 max and today it was 6 bar

got the same code two weeks ago, brought in for service and they (dealer) replaced the sensor at no charge. all good now

i spoke to dealer before bringing in and they told me the sensor only measures the oil pressure i.e. your oil pump still works, and you should check oil level. of course they said I should bring in asap to be sure. do not let this linger as oil is the life blood of the beast. good luck

Re: oil pressure issue just me ?

If your engine was dry and running on insufficient oil I think an engine indicator would light up to let you know you are driving without oil.

i am more concerned about blowing a hose or switch with it being double the normal pressure, that was the question.
