Are you keeping the chrome on the back? If so, I like the silver. If not, go with the red.

I am planning to get the carbon fibre piece from Black Ops.

CF or red IMO...once u get the rear chrome gone I would tint your tails and go with CF...would be subtle and go with your theme

I actually was thinking that but I couldn't get carbon fibre on it because of my severely lacking photoshop skills.

I actually got all the lights slightly tinted last night at my 3M installers. I was going to get him to fill in the SRT on the back as well but I was undecided on color so I will wait. He is still waiting for XPEL to come out with a kit for the new srt so once I am getting that done I will get him to fill in the hitch cover as well.

I went with a very lite tint as on our last jeep we got a tinted windows and tailight ticket so I want to go a little subtler this time. It actually looks very nice and in my mind just right. Takes the brightness of the red down and almost makes it look like it came from the factory like that.

I don't have PS on this computer, but what you could do is take the pic of the rear of the Jeep and use the tool to cut out the SRT letters and make a second layer with just a CF pattern and set that layer behind the SRT bumper and the CF should show through.

Re: Opinions of Stamped SRT Hitch Cover Color

you really need to decide on a theme first IMO. Since the rear valence is black...I would color match the SRt letters and the upper chrome brow. The black out the chrome moldings and black out the roof....that would be cool and what i plan if I get a Min grey.

My theme was going to be Carbon Fibre Brow and Step pad on the rear bumper and all tailights with a lite tint.

But now seeing the SRT on hitch cover in grey, I think it looks good with all the chrome on the back. Almost thinking of leaving the chrome and doing the SRT in grey. Very undecided right now.

Re: Opinions of Stamped SRT Hitch Cover Color

I agree if you keep the chrome go with the gray. If you black out the chrome then red looks cool. IMO keep the CF on the inside unless you are doing other CF on the exterior.
