Optional wheels on Australian SRT?

Is it true that you can't order the vapour black or satin chrome spider monkey wheels in Australia, I tried and the salesman is telling me can't get them as the are US only?
Don't make sense when it's the same wheel we can get just a different colour and made in the same factory?
Could someone please confirm if this is true....

You should be able to get both the Black Chrome and Satin Chrome wheels... It's an option which should be available for all countries.

Nope, cannot get Black Chrome in Australia. I agree with you that we should be able to but not an option here unfortunately.

The Satin Carbon are a no cost option, many of us have them, the Black Vapour are not an option and are not available for the OZ 14s. Only choice is the standard Goliaths or optioned satin carbon spider monkeys.

I'm surprised you cannot opt for the optional wheels in Aus.. Over here, in Brunei, we're offered std option with black chrome wheels.

Just doesn't make sense! They have them in the SRT iphone app on specs and they would be sitting in the same factory as the car when it's built.
Disappointed at jeep, SRT and don't understand why.
Thanks for clearing it up.

Re: Optional wheels on Australian SRT?

You only get the Black Chrome on the limited edition Alpine (white) or Vapour (black) models that were releases as MY13 models. As both white and black are now standard colours I don't think we'll see MY14 version of them.

Re: Optional wheels on Australian SRT?

Mate you could try looking up carsales.com.au too see if you see any jeeps at dearlships that might have the rims your looking for.

If you see a car with them then it must be possible. Or try ringing another dealer.

Other options is to get the regular spider monkeys and let the brake dust do the work for you.

lol at brake dust

it is awesomely ridiculous the amount of brake dust generated by those brembos..... cleaning the darn spider monkeys must be hard work... as my goliaths are hard work enough

They are, it's ridiculous how much dust comes off. To keep them shining, I'm having to wash every 3 days.. Crazy... Can't wait to upgrade & buy black rims...
I only have the satin & Goliath option when I brought mine in Melbourne...didn't bother too much as I know I'm changing them
