That is exactly why I do not like my V1 it gives a ton of false positives. The STI-R plus is supposed to be better about that. I believe someone installed a 9500ci already (see the other post) and the adaptive cruise did not have an affect on it.

Re: OT: Laser Jammers.......

I've used the Escort 9500x in my moms SHO with the radar adaptive cruise control and the two systems never interfered with each other......

Re: OT: Laser Jammers.......

I have a STI-R and a LI sitting in a box ready to go onto my Jeep, however the ACC upsetting the RD is a concern. I will not be installing the LI as they are too easy to see.

I'm thinking of going with the same setup. I'm not really concerned about the ACC having an issues though. I am concerned about seeing the laser shifters and am trying to find a way to conceal them better. I'm wondering how they will fit if mounted behind the grill slots. I know some effectiveness would be lost but it may be better than nothing.

I want the redline but just don't like the fact that it can not take out the false alarms

I have the 9500ci installed and have had zero falses from the vehicle, I also have my V1 that I sometimes run at the same time, I have a lot of falses from the V1 coming from behind (I assume its the blindspot monitoring). It is unfortunate that the grill slots are not wider to fit the laser shifters in, but you have to decide if the ticket safety or aesthetics are more important to you personally. It is also really nice to have the GPS to lockout signals, with the V1 it would go off, i would look around and decide if its real, with the 9500ci I hit the brakes anytime it makes a noise.

Re: OT: Laser Jammers.......

I'll give you that, but given the extreme range, 99% of the time I'd say a "real" signal will start out weak and work its way up. I even had that from a LEO that was on a perpendicular street 1/4 mile down. If the signal starts out strong right away, I know it's a false. I wonder if the new iPhone-enabled SmartCord would be able to identify falses and silence it.
I really like the fact that it'll track multiple signals at once. I've had it track 1 K and 2 Ka and 4 X signals at once (yeah, I know, I should turn X off).

I was about to order it also but I'm just not sure about where to mount it. I really want a clean install. This is really what we need: http://www.lasertamers.com/

However that product has been "in development" for years.
