The only problem I see with the WK2 is how difficult it will be to cleanly mount laser shifters in the front. There is really no good place to put them because the front grill slots are too small and not very recessed.
The issue with newer cars that no one thinks of when they get detectors is all the new cars with radar. If your jeep has radar adaptive cruise control, or anything else that uses radar forget the detector. I can't even tell you all the falses my V1 gets from new cars with that junk
