The part im looking for on that update is "several navigation improvements" item that they list. It wont fix the lack of map updates but hopefully improve the logic so it will navigate me across town without going by way of Japan. Currently i just use my phone because i dont trust the system with its wacky routing.

I like the idea of the OTA updates but Ill believe it when i see it. I agree probably a disaster in the making if FCA deploys it with their normal grace. I wonder how the phased deployment is determined.

I don't think Pandora (and other apps disappearing) is part of the update. This happened to me a few months ago and I'm still on 16.13.13. I think it has more to do with Uconnect account status. The previous owner on mine must have signed up for 1 year right before selling, because I'd always had all the premium functions, then they quit working one day. Called Uconnect, and they said the account had expired and set me up with a 3 month trial, when they did that and tied it to my Uconnect account, it forced an update which removed all the old apps (Pandora, iHeats, etc). Asked Uconnect about that, and they said it's all available on the phone, so they aren't doing radio specific apps anymore.

BEWARE!!! I just got the update, installed it, now GPS does not work!!! Bad timing as I'm heading to Vail tomorrow and now I don't have GPS. I spoke with the UConnect people several times...tried several things...no go. They are now telling me that I have to take it to the dealer and pay a diagnostic fee which "may" be reimbursed. Are you freaking kidding me? This may be the last straw for me.

This whole over the air update is insane anyway from a safety viewpoint.
Somehow I seriously doubt the UConnect folks technical capabilities are any where near those of the folks who could spoof the download and inject malware that only allows oldies radio stations or playing media no newer than Lawrence Welk.
