I had a corsa extreme on my 392 300 SRT. That pill did nothing. Made me wonder if they even tested the "fix" before advertising it as one.

The code is normal for any 392 vehicle with exhaust flaps, and a cat back exhaust. Some cars are just more pickey and get it more often.

Dealership can't do anything about it.

The code seem to be less common on the Jeeps, but obviously still get them.

The Chargers/Challengers/300's get them all the time.

My point was, don't be surprised if you get this code. It's not indicitive of there being something "wrong" (one guy was going to the dealer) with your Jeep.

Re: P0471 code

I get this code ALL the TIME! I have a GTHAus and leave the valves open most of the time though. JEEP guy that i talked to back home said its just because the lack of backpressure with valves open and no biggy. If i close the valves and do a few cycles of drving normal with closed, and shutting off it goes away and I can remote start again. I can leave the valves open and not get it if i drive like a grandma, but its NO fun that way, and here in Europe anything that passes wants to race!! So i have just learned to deal with the code. In the winter I close the valves so the remote start doesnt disable.

Its a wireless OBD2 plug in adapter that uses software on your smart phone to pull up codes or clear them. Can also be used to read any parameter from your ECU and display it in gauges or digitally on your phone. I believe the iPhone app is called "Rev" and Android is "Torque" but you need to pick up an adapter from eBay or Amazon first
