Just wondering if anyone in Canada has figured out how to get the performance pages? I don't have an "APPS" button on the RA4. I have gone through all the settings, but don't see it anywhere. It is however on the EVIC.

Not yet but the powers that be are working on it is what I was told.

Soon hopefully!

Following this with interest, because I would guess that overseas exports won't have it better.
Very nice post on your blog, if the guys at Chrysler/Jeep are reading it, what's not to love about your idea of the USB download through drivesrt.com? This is as close as possible to a zero-cost fix for them...

Your 100% right. Chrysler is full of s**t! 80k with fit finish that hasn't been improved like fender flares that either don't line up properly or come unglued and paint defects that were an issue as far back as wk1 srt8"s but are still found in wk2"s . Jokes on us for putting up with this.

UConnect Access uses Sprint CDMA - EvDO for the data channel (as a side bar, thats a crying shame as HSPA+ and LTE greatly eclipses the capabilities of EvDO).

It looks like either Chrysler or Sprint did not take advantage of striking a deal with the Canadian CDMA operator to provide service in Canada. I'm hoping the radio module in the head unit is easily replaceable and we can replace it with an LTE module (or we can achieve connectivity with a MiFi access point for that matter). If either option exists, all we need is access to the Apps and we'll "attach" the internet to the head unit.

Alternatively, let us buy our SRTs in the US and DON'T void the warranty (sorry, was that my inside voice again? :) )

According to a Chrysler dealer here in Regina,Sask,Canada he said that that service is coming to Canada the 911 wifi U connect system, its like GM on star available on all GM automobile in Canada, Chrysler system will be available on all Chrysler automobile here too in Canada, its a new service for Chrysler they have to get it up first in the USA,This feature was suppose to be on the the other SRT WK1 when it came out in 2011,the feature was mentioned at the vehicle debut at the auto Show I think in Detroit, but it was not available at the time, but they just start implementing it on the WK2 SRT.

Is like they mentioned lane keep assists on this vehicle in the debut auto show presentation,is like they are giving us hints of things to come, although that feature is not available on this vehicle yet,it will be on future SRT, a matter of patience, especially for a company coming out of tough financial times.

I have a feeling us Canadians will be getting something out of this as SRT messaged me on Twitter after I directed them to my blog, as well as tweeted to them about the issue.

SRT and Ralph Gilles really take care of their customers. It's so unreal that a company of this size cares this much about their customers. I've owned Nissan, Hyundai, Porsche (not in this order) and in none were remotely close to quality service levels SRT operate at.

i'd recommend SRT to everyone again, and again, and again.

I'll post what I hear when I know what's up

this is not a Canadian SRT. this is an American SRT brought into Canada to sell from the USA. This happens all the time. I spoke with Chrysler Canada and SRT about this, sadly ... no Canadian SRT's are app ready yet.

Also, your regina dealer is speculating. Talk to SRT or Chrysler Canada yourself and you'll get a different answer. Often - dealers are very much the last to know things. I wish it was different.

Pages (not apps yet) are coming, but they don't have a plan in place yet. I'll be talki g to Adam with Drive SRT tomorrow, will post what I find out. :)

when u get yours Mangoe?

Sometime in the near future I will buy mine,I want the tan interior, the rear DVD,etc, hopefully the 911 feature where you can start your vehicle from your smart phone anywhere in the world by paying for the service.

Mangoe I have purchased 3 vehicles from the dealership that you keep talking about. I can safely say that I will never believe a word that comes out of their mouth. The only reason I bought from there was they had what I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay. I gained all my info from this site about jeeps and when I went into that dealership they almost contradict everything Milous has ever said about jeeps.

If you strongly believe that the Canadian SRT's have the apps you should go visit this dealership, since it sounds like you are great friends and have them let you check if they have the apps. They have two SRT's on the lot that have been there for over two weeks and not sold. I am sure that since you know them so well they won't have a problem letting you sit in them and play with the radio for a bit.

Please report your findings.

Generally the dealership and the customer are operating under the same basic principal: "If their mouths are moving, they're lying."

Its so frustrating to talk to a sales manager like an adult with the understanding that he wants to make money and you have a set price you'll pay. Lets get this done TODAY... Nope. Lets test him and lie about our bottom dollar the entire day. Then tomorrow we'll concede.

Same goes for features. Instead of just saying, "oh I'm not sure, let me look into that," its just yes, yes, yes. It has all of that. Product knowledge has been piss poor in my neck of the woods. Not just on the Jeep front.

In short, Jeep Garage is your best friend, your mom and your dad.

Apparently there were a few SRT's that left factory without latest software but all has been fixed now.

Hi guys, I just picked up my 2014 SRT here in Calgary. Only had it for 4 days, I noticed I had no apps option for the first few days, but then when I plugged my ipad in to listen to some music, the apps button popped up at the bottom, now I'm not sure if it would go anywhere, since I was driving with the wife and kid, and I didn't have chance to check it out, but when I do in the next few days I'll post back. Anyone so far know about this?

Cheers.

So as it turns out it had nothing to do with the ipad (not really surprising), got into the car this morning to drive to work and the Apps button was there (no idevice plugged in) and when I went throught I had full access to all the performance pages, pretty cool stuff, mostly just toys but fun nonetheless. So yes I have the performance pages and full access to them. No other apps where there.

It did ask me when I first opened the Apps page, about logging in, I just clicked yes the they showed up.

So not sure why its seems to be there sometimes and not others but if it changes or I find out anything else I will post.

cheers

I'm confused because this thread went off and came back to the performance pages. Are the new SRT's shipping with Performance Pages Enabled? Ill have mine by mid October and I'm curious.
