Indeed. The P-Zeros are 'max summer', the second highest (softest) performance compound, and on a heavy beast like the SRT, we'll be lucky to see 15K miles. The Scorpion Verdes are 'ultra high performance all-season', which is several notches below 'max summer', but all the tire an SRT needs for 99%+ of the owners. And those should be good for at least twice the life. It's an SUV after all, not a Ferrari. That's the tire I wanted, but came with the darn P-Zeros, and had to pay $800 more for them . Oh well. I'll replace them with UHP A/Ss, but not runflats, since they're a lot heavier, more expensive, and car came with a spare, just like the Overland.

Re: Pirelli P-Zero tread life

Just replaced mine - a bit over 15k miles. Switched to the 4 season version. Let's see what these do...

14500 miles on 4 season Verde's and they are down to 20%. Pressure, alignment and rotation all maintained but they are gone. No track time but I tow a heavy trailer a lot. We also have very rough secondary roads here, by rough I mean they use cocina filler (sea shells) in the older surfaces which are like millions of tiny razors slicing away at the tires.

Going with either the Toyo ST2 or BFG KDW2 I. A few weeks, depending on what's available and what I can get them for.

Also note that when the 4 seasons get down to the wear bars the ride and handling go to hell, in a big way. The beast tramlines like its got 2 flat tires, it's become no fun to drive over the last few months.
