Re: Planning to replace all interior lights with LEDs

Just did my 3rd WK2 over the weekend...16 bulbs (including 4x reverse and 4x vanity). Install takes less than an hour, and now I could do them all in 30 minutes.

Bought all of my bulbs from XenonDepot (vendor on here)...great customer service and product warranty! Contact Danny or Steve and they will take care of you...JeepGarage members get a discount too!

And on the over-heads that cannot be replaced PNP, they are not nearly as "yellow" as all of the other stock bulbs and I do not even notice the difference unless I look straight into the lights. The LED's are so much brighter they "take over" the over head!

Re: Planning to replace all interior lights with LEDs

Who has replaced the stock lights that stay on under the footwell while driving? 2 under the front footwell driver/passenger and 2 under the driver/passenger seats for the rear passengers. Looking to replace mine. Thanks.

I replaced mine with the kit from deautokey. Love the look and the interior is super bright.

You wouldn't by chance have the part number for the bulbs I am referring to?

Thanks!

There's 2 under the front seats?! How did I miss that... I never remember ever seeing any yellow light down there?

Also, I highly recommend picking up a pair of DiodeDynamics CANBUS 194 bulbs... can't remember the exact model, but they're $18 a pair last I saw, and they have BUILT-IN resistors. This fixes the problem of not being able to turn on individual LEDs when the Jeep is turned off.

Thx for the info. The footwell lights I am referring to are not of a bulb you pull out and replace. Rather looks like a tiny small square computer chip that you unplug. It's so dim and pointless it's embarrassing Chrysler.

Our go to bulb is the Philips 194 LED bulb

I wouldn't even bother with that one. The led for the footwell gives of plenty of light. I'm like you I was hoping I could change every single bulb, like the ones built into the headliner. When I pulled it and found it was wired I just left it alone.
