Thanks. Jeep wave club is something different than what I got. Mine was actually one of those add ons the dealer tries to get you to pay for, sort of like an extended warranty. It was either the oil changes or wheel and tire warranty. Told them I'll take the oil changes and tire rotations for 3 years. Probably would have never used the wheel and tire warranty.

Now u knew u were gonna get called on that Have an example? I only ask in the interest of "grounding" these large discounts for those actually shopping. I am a numbers guy, what can I say?

That would be roughly 7% below invoice which simply does not happen except for unique situations when all is calculated. For instance, the Koons WOW prices appear to be 10+% below MSRP but when you add in the missing $995 destination and $699 fee that erases 2.5% or so of the "below invoice/MSRP" %...don't get me wrong, still a kickin' deal.

Re: Price Paid?

The advertised MSRP is: 71,770
The discounted price is: 62,488

If someone is actually interested in the car, I can give that person the dealer's contact information.

It's bright white with tow package, pano, and srt audio. This dealer is very good and they may even negotiate down further.

Re: Price Paid?

I was tired when I first found it. It's a new 2015, I thought it was a 2016. I feel a bit better now.

Re: Price Paid?

Yep, Ed Martin does deal in general and espec now with the 16's out....that's 6% below invoice, smokin' deal for sure

yeah, the financing is the "catch" but not a biggie depending on your goals....dealers get about 1 "point" + spiff for using their financing deal and that takes their net back up to about an employee price deal or so (5% below invoice) which is generally the true floor not counting factory incentives.

Re: Price Paid?

That would be the car. If someone wants the dealer who worked with me, please let me know. I bought the car from three states away and he made sure that everything was ready for me when I got there. I would definitely recommend Ed Martin to anyone looking (in fact I think I have). The only down side is that they are in Indiana.

There were a few issues with the car when it was delivered but they stood by the car. I couldn't be happier. I almost went to someone in Virginia, but I couldn't rationalize spending comparable money for a car that wasn't optioned the way I wanted it. Also, I had the opportunity to learn how incredibly flat Indiana is and that they have Perkins restaurants that are open 24/7.
