Everything thing that is blacked out is gloss black. The only black chrome anywhere are the wheels.

Re: Purchased a 2015 SRT Red Vapor Package

Congrats on the new ride. Love the V as well. Almost opted for a V-wagon myself.

Say, question regarding the buttons on the back side of your 2015 steering wheel..

Do they click when you depress them and have a fairly noticeable detent? I frankly don't like the click when I use either one of them (up or down) and I had a 2015 Cherokee loaner last week and it had soft touch buttons on the back of the wheel with no noticeable click when I used them. Didn't know if they changed the button style for 2015 or if it was just a difference between the Grand Cherokee and Cherokee wheels. Could be SRT specific too.

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm guessing the SRT buttons are the same as your 15' loaner. They feel like soft touch buttons on the back of the wheel with no noticeable click when used. The buttons on the back side have 3 functions, the top and bottom are indented circles and the middle of the button is a raised bump.

Well poop, that's what I figured. Guess I will have to order a Red Vapor steering wheel! Yeah, I noticed the actual switch mold was different. There was a definite circle feel to the top and lower buttons.

Hello,
Grate ride, enjoy !
Have you got any idea of a part number for the block heater ?

But i still want to get it..
Thank you in advance.

Here you go Engine Block Heater Part#82212440 MSRP 76.55 Hope this helps you. Looking at the installation instructions does not look to be to bad. But it does say you might have to unbolt the exhaust from the manifold to gain access.

Got 2,300 miles on her now. All highway. Winter wheels and tires installed at 800 miles. No issues to report. Added half a quart of oil at 2000 miles but that is expected with a new engine.
