Does any of you that suffered the purple lights installed the harness CLStech harness? If so did the dealer give you trouble with the warranty?

Im having to pay for my work after having the clstech harness installed. Its not the led character rings thats my problem...its the adaptive headlights and bumper leds. Something...somewhere is causing the adaptive module to stop working even though theyve replaced both headlamps. Something keeps shutting down the module. I dont know if its because i tapped into the headlight harness or what? They ran a scan and sent it to the srt lighting engineer friday. Shoulf know somethibg maybe soon. I can wiggle the fuse for the bumper leds and the adaptive headlights start to level and the bumper lights come on. But after driving..I get the service adaptive headlamps message and the bumper leds go out. No problems with the headlight character leds. I dont know if the small hole that the tap makes in the headlight wiring is causing this or what? No one else has had this problem that we know of.

Re: Purple Headlight Ring

After they installed my new headlight, for the purple LED, my service adaptive headlight message came on that evening. Still haven't had a chance to take it back to the dealer yet.

They need to fix that, peeling front fenders and a lag in the 1-2 up shift.

I've read somewhere that the LED's aren't naturally white. They have some kind of coating on them that produces the white light. The coating itself is coming off and allowing this purple hue to show.

So with the number of people we now have reporting this issue, it appears we have another defective part coming to light here (no pun intended).

When they replaced my headlights for water intrusion, They had to re calibrate the headlights to clear that adaptive headlight message.
