just UNDER 8000 miles in 8 months on my PZero Perillis.. am I the only person who thinks it is INSANE that I have no tread left? I gotta ask. why 62k for a car that gives you 8k worth of tread life on tires ??

What "SRT Engineering Team" decided THIS was a good idea?

You have a problem with your tires, truck, or driving habits. Seriously. There is absolutely no way in hell your tires should be gone. You need to take it to the dealer.

In addition to RAC88s testimony, I have over 18k miles on my truck and I have TONS of tread left. I'll bet I get 30k+ out of them.

Shouldn't matter that much. Should still get way more than 8k miles.

I have the all seasons and just under 10K on them. They are easily half wore as the wear indicators are very close to being flush. The three season P-Zeros are just that, P-Zero's. Its a totally different compound and they have a dismal wear rating of 220 I believe. The Zero's are going to wear a lot like a Supercar tire that has been afixed to a SUV. If you get 12-15K out of the Zero's , I think you are doing extremely good.

I switched to BF Goodrich g-force KDW's 295/45/20 the day after taking possession and have been happy ever since. Pirelli are all name/marketing. Great tire if you are on a track but for street use, so soft so they get destroyed.

So the life of these are very inconsistent. Maybe the SRT Engineers thought if a buyer can afford a $65k super SUV then they can afford the matching tires. You gotta pay to play!

Reading the replies, I will agree with this. However, I still feel there is something awry if you get only 8k miles out of any OEM tire. I've seen guys getting 11-13k miles out of R-Compound Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars.

pay to play for 8k miles? NOT a good choice by the "SRT Engineering Team" that talks about how much they sweat out every small detail ... i.e. airvents on the viper... every groove, ounce etc etc ... and they outfit a car with tires that only go 8k miles? Ridiculous choices were made that day in the Engineering Team boardroom. IMFO.

And this is my fourth SRT... never had ANY issues with any prior tires. Just sayin'.
Thanks for the feedback(s) and feel free to keep 'em comin'. (including what you replaced with.. that helps)

The PZero is only like a 15,000 mile tire in optimal conditions. The All Seasons Verde are like a 30,000 mile tire. I can see PZeros wearing out in under 10,000 miles. That's what they are meant for. Sticky track (summer) tire. The PZeros are not meant to last.

No problem here at all...

Yeah I think the Scorpions have a wear rating of 550 which is totally false. No way you get 30K out of these without running them when they are slicks. IMO, when you hit the wear marks, its time to order tires because they will be worthless in the rain.

Im currently having my Wheels powder coated, the shop told me the wear is really low on the PZeros. I have a just over 11k miles on my car. Never tracked, no burn outs etc... my wife drives this car 90% of the time. We have the 3 season tires so reading this thread it seems about right... what is the best replacement?

I dont want to loose the ride and performance but would love to get more than 11-12k out of a set of tires. Especially given their replacement cost.

I'll update too: 28,200 on my ALL seasons. I bet I still have 5,000 left on them.
