Re: Real World MPG

wow after reading this thread I'm kinda glad i went with the 3.0l diesel. i average 7.8l/100km on the highway and about 9.0l/100km around town. towing a car on a car trailer it uses about 11.5l/100km. Most times i go about 1000km between refills

Re: Real World MPG

Been doing a 800km road trip on highways and manage to get it down to 22mpg. This is 95% Eco mode and 5% overtaking squirts. On the distance to empty said I have a range of 880km, but could make it to 900km range if not stupid slow drivers. I think it's very good for this performance cars. Also I got 4 people on board and fully loaded luggage as well.

Re: Real World MPG

Jeep has just over 6000kms on it as of now. Have seen as low as 13 per 100km, but that was a long bush trip. Constantly flogging it around town I'm in between 16-18 per 100km and love every minute of it

I'm pretty sure nobody buys a SRT for its gas mileage. But compare it to a X5M

I'm at 17mpg average per tank with eco button on in my 15' with 3100 miles. The fuel efficiency has been increasing as more miles are racking up.

I tried with ECO on the way back, but there was more traffic so I couldn't cruise at the same speed. So I figured it wouldn't be apples to apples, so I gave up on that comparison.

Re: Real World MPG

I have logged every gas fillup on both vehicles:

2015 6.4L - 1,793 mi, 113.53 gal., 15.586 MPG - driven fairly aggessively
2011 5.7L - 89,215 mi, 1,200.47 gal., 17.548 MPG ~50% - 60% mileage driven at 60MPH
Max Distance on a tank - 441 mi (23.2gal, 19.009 MPG)
Max Fillup - 24.646 gal.
When my wife drive - mid 19's
When I drive - mid 15's
I have seen MPG as high as 25MPG sustained on a flat road with a tailwind.
