RM mid-level will cause issues?

Hi there,

i contacted the dealer to install the RM mid-level springs for me and they claimed that by installing these if any issues happened to the suspension then my wrarranty will be down, they are saying that this is an air suspension and lowering will have an impact is that true?

need your feedback guys, thanks in advance

Find a different dealer...the SRT suspension is in no way an air suspension......

Why so many trips to the dealer for issues?

OP: While no these don't have air suspension, they are correct that by modifying your factory suspension with aftermarket parts that are designed to change the dynamics of the factory suspension setup; you are in fact giving them a reason that if a failure of some part of the factory suspension fails and you try to claim it under warranty, they can deny the claim saying the aftermarket part caused the failure (shocks, control arms, half shafts, axle bearings etc.)

Know your risks when you modify and what chances you are taking.
And know your dealer. If you know they are cool, that helps.
Don't rely on internet claims of laws to prevent the manufacturer from voiding warrantys and saying they have to prove it. Yes there are laws to help protect the consumer, but when push comes to shove; you are the little guy and it is not worth the fight (an d they know this).
Been there, done that, not fun.

You've gotta pay to play is a very accurate term here.
But you only live once, and its only money right?
Do what makes you happy

Re: RM mid-level will cause issues?

^ Another reason I went with Eibach. They seem to be one of those "factory sanctioned" brands.
