Worth the investment IMHO

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

So I have the mid level drop. Running 305/35/22 tires. I waited about 2 weeks to make sure the springs settled properly before alignment but I still notice a lot of rear camber on the back. I did the alignment at the dealership and they told me they got it as close to "stock" as possible. But I still notice camber. Anyone else having this issue? I really don't want to burn through these tires too fast. Thinking maybe I should order the control arm and links.

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

Your gonna need the arms, mid drop in the rear the highest my camber would get is -1.8 and was maxed out. With the arms I'm at -.5 so well worth the investment, not only does it save your tires it looks better as the tires are not tucked so far in like all the imports I see running around

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

Second that going to need the arms ... I tried twice on alignment ... The arms made the camber back to spec

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

Just got another alignment done. Front is within range but the rear is -2.3 & -2.5 off. Definitely will have to get the control arms.

Stock specs are not 0 degrees. They are .8 to -1.8...so you are really only .5 and .7 off which is nothing. ALL Jeep SRT's have a little camber built into them oem for better handling.

My specs on rear after alignment are a follows.... -2.0 driver side and -2.0 passenger side.

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

You will kill the inside of your tires with those numbers, yes it is almost within spec but you would have to throw these rigs around a lot in order to make your tires wear even. If you don't do autocross or track it at all I'd get the arms to save your tires

Mine as well we're 2.0-2.2. So like Scott said just barely out of spec

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

I've driving on RM mids for about 13000 miles, front was back into specs but rear was maxed out and out of spec after alignment which was done a month after springs were installed. Took a good look at tread and no surprise, inner wear was present but to my surprise fronts were more worn. Anybody see this before? Or know What's happened?

Re: RM - mids and camber/control arms

Just to repeat. My dealership had their Viper (SRT) techs do my alignment. (I have eibach). They told me that OEM SRT Jeeps come in with -2.0 to -2.2 front and -1.4 rear.

The could have gone more positive on the front but I told them to keep me at stock camber. It's the cost to floss!
