Re: Sepia interior

Yeah that sepia is kinda ugly. The red in the 392 Chally's was a sweeet option. I think they need to stick to clean/agressive colors - ie. red, black, white, grey. Outside of that, most colors dont work to well for performance rides imho.

Is it that same tan as in ferrari's? Hmmm I like it in the raris, maybe I just cant see it in a big SUV.

So it seems to be the italian leather from 'Poltrona Frau'.

Best quality leather on the market, which you only can find in premium car brands.

I like it - would be my color.
But for me here in Switzerland, the Diesel is the better choise, so I already placed the order for the 3.0 CRD Summit.

So, just to sum it up:
- The "regular" black interior has leather/alcantara seats and a "dinamica" headliner;
- The "Sepia" and "Laguna" interiors have perforated leather seats and suede headliner;
- All three options have carbon accents;
Correct?

Are the newer two (Sepia/Laguna) sold at a premium vs. the "regular" interior?

1-nope....just black headliner, pillars and such....not dinamica

2the sepia does have dinamca headliner for sure...i saw it. I was just saying suede cause the word is shorter to type out....LOL. Not sure on the laguna black yet.

all three will have cf accents like the 12-13'

not sure on pricing yet

Re: Sepia interior

I currently have the Mineral Grey Summit with the saddle brown interior.
I love it and anyone that has seen it is impressed at the unique look.
I would go for that color on the SRT8 in a heartbeat.

Thanks, dinamica / suede = same
Suede is one of the rare materials where the synthetic "copy", whether it is called alcantara or dinamica or else, is better than the animal-based orginal, at least when applied to car interiors.

Re: Sepia interior

We have an '02 Viper GTS with this color leather but they called it "Cognac". It was tanned by Connolly Leather out of England who went under in "02 after over 125 years in business due to the mad cow disease. The Viper is Graphite Metallic and the Cognac color gets a lot of compliments.

Re: Sepia interior

Looks like the same color as the Durango Citadel's leather just with weird lighting., kinda similar (but lighter) than the WK2 saddle leather.

It probably is Poltrona Frau, Chrysler recently had a 300 done with that leather, and I think Fiat owns them or at the least has a very strong relationship with them (they make the leather for Maseratis).

Ettinger is probably the best leather on the market now. They supply the leather for Bentley. Hewa makes the leather for Rolls Royce, it is also of course, incredibly high quality.
