Re: Sepia interior

Ugh. I see people are still trying to talk this color into looking pleasing...or even acceptable A few more drops of black or brown dye would have done wonders. I smell some discounted punkin flavored SRT's on the horizon.

Why cant Chryco get a classy and tasteful brown or tan like these..... YES

NOOOO!

NOOO! Not even in the Viper

I don't get why they couldn't do a nice cream/bone/beige interior. Why Brown/orange. I don't get it, are they going for the super car style colour you see in Ferrari's for example. I am not a hater of the Sepia colour but they could have done better surely. I know there will be people that absolutely love it and that is great and what makes this world go round but come on.

It is really nice in person and doesnt look orange at all. Ive stated that many times on this forum. Its the lighting in some of the pics that makes it look more orange.

Re: Sepia interior

I have seen this color in an Overland and even if it was a buckskin colored suede, it is too contrasting with the black interior pieces, it just doesnt work. I want to know who at Chryco saw this color and thought... "OMG, this is the color for our pinnacle SRT interior option". Its like they can knock some areas out of the park and others you are left wondering if they are playing a joke on us. Honestly though, you go with this color and you better factor in a resale discount.

Re: Sepia interior

If we all selected cars based on resale then we'd all be driving the same car, statistically.

I also feel like people are judging this interior on some online, digitally skewed, artificially lit photos. Those other "tan" photos I personally find revolting. I like the SRT sepia. And given that it has been given the production go ahead, I can only assume that others share my opinion.

If it's not for you, move on. Don't just assume you're opinion is the most valid.

Re: Sepia interior

This is a shot of the sepia in a 300. Scott can probably comment on whether this is more accurate. To me it looks more like what I picture it looking in person.

Re: Sepia interior

I think this is a great color, which is why i have ordered it. It is far from orange, looks more like camel color, none the less i like it, gives the SUV, imo, a more exclusive/expensive look, if you don't like it, stop looking at it and certainly don't order it, just move on. I can't wait till i get it, with bright white exterior, blacked out Matt finished rims, this beast is going to look awesome, as it will with any other color combination.....

Do you think Sepia and Redline would clash or look good? Also considering the black chrome vapor wheels.

I am counting on that since I have my order on hold now for the Sepia. The dealer thinks they have the order now placed in an artificial status that will put it on hold until the sepia can be added. Worst case that doesn't work and I have to cancel and re-order. Either way I have convinced myself that I want it.

I certainly hope so since that is exactly what I have ordered
