Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

We love you too and we are here for you. A Paypal account would make this easier. And, brother, don't feel guilty or anything like that. We, as a family will take care of our own. God bless you and your son and I can't wait to meet you personally at Irwindale soon.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

Happy to chip in Scott.

PayPal would be good for all International community members.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

Scott, post a PayPal address and let us pour out some blessings on you brother! I'll do it gladly. I'm a WK2 Diesel owner but this extends well beyond the SRT community.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

That's heavy. My son graduates high school next week and I would do anything financially if it improved his life in a meaningful way.

Got you and yours in my prayers man. Fight the good fight!

How about combining the two ideas? Please don't laugh if this is a dumb or unworkable idea, but please do be honest, never done this with any large property but I keep hearing it done for classic cars.

Raffle it? $50 a ticket? More? Less? Pick your minimum total $ pot you will accept and divide by the ticket price and that is your minimum number of tickets that have to be sold.

At $50/ticket let's just say for easy math you want $70k (just a number guys) then you would have a min ticket sale requirement of 1,400 for raffle to be valid. At $100/ticket it's 700, etc...

Would 1,400 people give $50 to have a decent crack at your sweet rig? Hell ya! Plus the bonus of knowing it was to help you out some.

If these things go well you get way more than your min. Some would buy 3 tickets for more chances to steal your rig AND to help you more.

I don't know, just a thought. Probably an admin nightmare for you at a time when you can least deal with it but if the market is soft for your modded rig it might be an option to max the dough.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

I would definitely not like to see you have to part with your beloved SRT but these fundraisers, from my experience, have a habit of netting $10kish and while that is certainly nothing to sneeze at and very helpful I am figuring the money stakes are much higher with the income change, etc... so just wanted to float this option (vs. having to sell in a soft market) if max money was the primary goal.

I'm in for GFM/PayPal if it happens.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

14SummitHemi... No offense brother (or sister), but I think you are short changing this Jeep family. I may be wrong, however, I, personally, pledge $100.00. We are, what, 52,000 strong, I thing we can make a difference.
What say ye?

I agree, we should not let the founder of this awesome community have to sell or raffle his rig!
