Hey man... I am definitely down to donate.. This site has been incredibly valuable and along the way have made friends (only met one personally, but you get my point).

Maybe a jeep charity run? Nice long caravan somewhere with all proceeds going to your family?

Long story short, this is the time to lean on friends/family.. My best friend of 24 years was recently hit by a bus and is now a quadriplegic. Saddest and darkest days for me and his family, but with a support network of loved ones and friends, we were able to get him over $150k in charitable donations bc of the non for profit I set up.. Point being; a few bucks from all of us can go along way and adds up quickly for people in need.

I never met you Scott, but as a newish father, I would carpet bomb a small country for my boy, let alone sell my car.. You're doing the right thing here brother and we are all behind you and your family..

Sending good vibes from NY

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

52000 members, assume 5k (10%) contribute 10$ that's still a good chunk of change. I know a lot if us would throw is more than that and to be honest. What's $10. It's 2 trips to Starbucks to help a good cause and a good guy who has probably saved us all more than that by making this forum possible.

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

Hi Scott, from a fellow SRT owner and a father, I'm more than happy to lend a good old fashioned Australian hand! Post the Paypal details and let's see if we can all chip in and make a difference to your situation before you go down the selling path!

Cheers

Agree with all the above, let us know how to donate and we should be able to at least help in the short term. PayPal is perfect. We all can forgo a few bucks to help a fellow SRT and leader of this forum out in his time of need

I will donate. If you go the raffle route, I will buy a ticket, and Scott you keep my ticket. If it wins you keep your Jeep. I mean, just how many Jeeps do I need LOL?

Re: serious question for my SRT brothers??

$65k OBO IMO. The bottom line is people aren't going to pay you a penny for your mods. The only mods I see you getting a decent amount of extra cash for would be a nice set of aftermarket custom forged rims that are very basic and appeal to a wide group of people. Aside from that, you will have to have serious $$$ into your motor before you start seeing much above stock selling price.

I think what StormTrooper was offered will probably be the most you'll see, $63k. Even then, you also have to consider that White is a very popular color right now as is the "Storm Trooper" fad so that is without a doubt helping him.

I'm with the others in that don't sell it unless you have no choice whatsoever. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you and your son. Keep us posted if you decide to set up some type of help account. My first child (son) will be here in about 5 weeks!

Would YOU help someone who had a similar situation? I suspect the answer is yes! In some cultures it is an insult to refuse a freely offered gift LOL.

You have done a lot for us....you didn't see us refusing your time, efforts and kindness - please don't refuse our offer.
