Shift light?

Anyone know why the EVIC lights up red when using the paddle shifters? Is that a "this is the optimal time to shift" light or a "engine speed is too high and you should have shifted before now" light? I can't find anything in manual. .

Re: Shift light?

Don't think my 2014 does this. Where at in the EVIC?

Either way, you will hit the rev limit before the engine speed is too high. It's more of a easy to see visual cue to so you don't have to eyeball the RPM needle.

The entire EVIC around the Speedo. I'll see if I can catch a photo of it.

No. That's what the screen reverts to if you don't hit 60 in under 10 seconds. I didn't gun it because I was trying to get a photo of the screen all lit up red.

Lol. It's so easy to lay into it. Especially when in paddle shift mode

Re: Shift light?

Also you have an ^^ Arrows at 1st gear while doing 30 mph. I'll have to check mine. Not that I've looked while doing a 0-60 time
