IMO and my engineers opinion we firmly believe their IS strut flex in the front of the truck since most are "not stock any more" I will get more in depth of what that means below but hey lets face it even we will not be able to tell until we see the proof.

We have a few methods of testing this that we plan on instilling in the tests.

On another note their are a lot of OEM's that say things are not needed from the factory but as we raise HP things are 110% needed. OEM parts may be not be needed as tested on the engineering side at the factory but as things change the overall dynamics of the Jeep changes.

Ex. Lets look at the Position of the OEM rear Swey bar after lowering this is why we initially developed the Endlinks shorter to put it back to OEM position and to stiffen things up a bit more. So where they needed at the OEM Level not necessarily but we went and changed things up on the truck.

We are building a better suspension with all the Parts combined and with added HP I'm 100% sure we will defiantly notice a really solid Driver without loosing the comfort of the Truck this is our goal.

More to come progress is being made on all fronts of this project and the New Cold Air intake.

OH
I noticed a comment after typing all of the above that I'm kinda confused by unless I misunderstood the question I will explain how I understood it cool? And please correct me if I misunderstood you incorrectly cool?

The Front of the 06-10 had a Strut spring setup in the front same as the 2012+ and a Separate Spring Perch and Strut in the rear. We developed the BC Racing Coliovers for 3 years with BC Racing for that truck and know that suspension better than anyone unfortunately LOL.

This brings us back to the stiffing of top of the front strut towers they will flex in the front same setup as the 05-10 even if they don't at the OEM level we are sure they will be needed later (Explained Above)

Yes I agree there will be less flex on the rear independent rear when compared to the 06-10 yes you are correct.
Black Ops, yes you did understand my question, and thanks for such a comprehensive answer.

Re: Sneak peek new part!!!!!

Just a little concern....Some existing Cai intakes use the strut tower screws to mount the shield. I am using injen. Hopefully this product will not render those useless.

Remember we are doing our own Cold Air intake too say you may end up dumping it anyway when you see it. LOL

Could be....that being said, I dont have a huge modding pot of cash. I would hate to see guys that want the strut brace have to pass it up just to keep their current gear.

You guys are great.....but dont be like Apple. I dont want to have to stick with the apple eco system so I choose android because they dont corner me into only using their stuff. That might not be a good example but hopefully you get where I am going with it.

Again.....I think you guys are great and have great products but I dont wanna have to sell my stuff that I already like to get the strut brace.

Besides, looking at my intake, I can already see how slight modifications could get it to work.

Re: Sneak peek new part!!!!!

I'm holding off on purchasing an Injen in hopes Black Ops' CAI comes to market this year and looks/works as good as some of their other stuff apparently does!

Re: Sneak peek new part!!!!!

I did snap up an INJEN (damned good value) but will flog that off quite easily when the real deal is developed , as many others have said before me - far far better to utilise fresh air via the grille area , leaving the engine bay hotter air well alone

Looking forward to seeing the Black Ops CAI should be a best seller to be honest !!
