I failed to mention

1) will 285's fit on those rims? seem too wide... but I have no basis for that assumption...

2) I will say the blizzacks have a great bite - corner relatively good - and the ride is a million times better than the 3-season pirelli runflats...
a) after next year - I hope there are more non-runflat options for 295 sport tires...

Yes, the 285 tires are good for 8-10 inch wide rims.

My 285 tires will be about 2.4% larger diameter and the 255 should be about 1.5% smaller. Both within the recommended 3%. Yours being the narrower tire will be better in snow.

My wife has Blizzaks on her Overland. They are great in the snow and ice but they are a little squirrelly on the dry. I hope the newer Blizzaks are better in the dry.

I really should have ordered these sooner. My SRT is arriving next week with the 3 season tires and we have snow and ice on the streets.

Bought some 1/4" wheel spacers on amazon today to add just a little more room... fronts only
I had a Subaru STi that had the same thing happen to the gold calipers. I never could find the paint to match. I hope you have better luck.
