Re: Sold my 2014 SRT

yep...I strongly considered a GTR. But the maint. costs, everyday driving was not practical as the SRT. But yes....a supercar is a supercar.

Glad you stayed in the Jeep family. Now get to posting in the Jk forum....LOL

I have nothing bad to say about my five months owning my SRT. It was magical.

My wife and I traded it in on a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited and within 24 hours, I had the doors off, stored and tube doors in place. Been driving all over with my foot hanging out the door.

Looking to trade in my 13 overland summit on one and was wondering what you got for it? Trying to decide to buy new or used.

How much did you sell it for, I'm looking at getting a slightly use done and was wonder if it is worth it or if I'm better off just getting new?

I never really got it before I guess but those of you with "jeep jeeps" get it I suspect. I didn't, now I do. It's a different lifestyle, much slower. In a perfect world I'd have kept the SRT and bought a Rubicon but I hate debt. I had my SRT paid down 100%, and in trading I was able to get a new Rubi plus a nice check back.

I plan to grab a 2015/2016 Challenger hellcat when they hit next year/year after. So I'll be back in SRT land.

Thanks to the friends I made here, you're all a great bunch of guys! Best of luck with your SRT's!

Re: Sold my 2014 SRT

aaand I am back.

We sold the Rubicon - modded and all, and now are taking delivery of our second 2014 SRT. This time in white.

I'll be blogging more about this in the days to come on my site and of course, posting anything/everything I can add over here to this site!

So freaking happy to be back.

LOL! Welcome back. What made you come back? Lost that love and feeling with the JGC SRT? The local kids put the peer pressure on you again to join their SRT gang?

No, I don't know anyone in the SRT family out this way. I know there are many people out here with SRT's though, I see WK1 SRT's almost daily and the occasional WK2 SRT as well.

I do miss the feeling though of driving it, no question!

Once you go SRT, you're somewhat screwed when you start driving anything else.

Sold is the story of what happened more or less.

Happy to be back!

Re: Sold my 2014 SRT

I thought I was bad with flipping in and out of Jeeps. I too love the Rubicon but felt to cramped up in the drivers seat. Welcome back!

Re: Sold my 2014 SRT

not following... girl on period? reference somewhere? lol

I owned mine for five, almost six months last time. 11,400 km on it and after all is said and done with the trade, I only lost about 2400 from what I paid. Still sucked of course.

Ah well, now if the new one would only arrive... it's still delayed until Monday I am told. Awesome, it has the three season tires and its around below zero here. Winter tires I ordered won't be in until Dec 12 so when it does come... limited driving. As in, get it home, park it and wait for tires to come in.
