Thanks guys. I just snapped these pics late last night after I was done, the whole detail took me about 4 hours to wash, clay bar, and 2 coats of zaino. I'd like to get some more shots but its been raining all day and I refuse to drive it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some time to debadge the Jeep on the front an GC on the sides, also need to install my radar detector and pull out some of the yellow bulbs to see if I can get them all to match better.
Nope. I had the dealer not touch it. They left it for me with the plastic still on.
This is the first time I washed it but it still needed to be clay bared, I could feel a little bit of contamination probably from shipping and driving it for a week.
Pressure washed to remove large debris
Liquid dawn dishwashing soap in a foam gun
Let the soap sit for a few minutes to dissolve any left over dirt
Pressure washed again
2 bucket method with dawn dishwashing soap to remove road oils
Pressure wash
Touchless dry with leaf blower
Clay Bar
1x Zaino Z5 coat
1x Zain Z2 coat
would have liked to get another coat in there but it was getting late and hard to see.
AWESOME! Looks sweet man. I think you got a few JOTM winners in there for sure
Also to note, Im liking this red more and more, really pops, looks nicer than previous gen, not sure why yet. Wheels are still growing on me, but I think those HRE wheels that HPE had on their Jeep may be in order for this thing to really be finished off. And imagine if they offered that red leather interior from the new Charger SRT8 OMG!
