I hit 500 miles this morning and did my fist launch. I ran 4.5 seconds with the factory launch settings on first and only try. My previous best without launch was 4.6. I have yet to really push it because it us new, but I can totally see it doing 4.2 without any mods.

well...Im still in the 3.7-3.9 range depending on temps. Mostly the 3.7 range with cool morning temps. My main problem right now is traction. I am loosing traction and still pulling a 3.7. Could be the cooler temps on the tires I guess?

3.7 is amazing for a car let alone a SUV. How much faster do you think you can go with a tune and or more mods?

What do the thing the best I can get 0-60 bone stock? When I did 4.5sec I felt like I was just touching the surface. I did not feel I was pushing it even close to its capabilities. Plus it was my first "Launch Control" try so I did not really know what I was doing.

the more miles mine got...the faster its gotten. Im at 3700 right now. I think with tuning and bolt ons we could see low 3's

800 miles on the odometer & stock
1st ever use of launch control
4.4 secs

That's good enough for me... I'm away from the beast for a week while I travel across country (Las Vegas to NC). The beast will be missed.

Curious as everyone's opinion of the ACTUAL engine power output in hot weather vs cold.

My theory is that here is no way 470hp can propel 5200+lbs 0-60 in the low 4.X seconds.

I think the engines are performing per spec at "normal" 70-90 degree weather and are over performing when colder temps are present. Maybe 500-525hp in the lower 30-50 degree temps which seems more explainable for the low 4 second sprints.

Ok i have been out 2 times at the drag strip in diff weather with a bone stock 2012 and the race wt was 5492lbs.
1st time in feb the temp was 55 degrees and at the track my 0/60 was 4.3. Gas was 91 octane.
2nd time in june the temp was 89 degrees and at the track my 0/60 was 4.4. Gas was 98 octane.

I am consistently under 4 seconds no matter the weather. My problem now is losing some traction. My last two saturdays off were planned track days...unfortunately it rained both days
